... and now everybody! Song festival without borders
An evening of the award winners and scholarship holders

Prizewinners of two competitions associated with the Heidelberger Frühling as cooperation partners will create this entertaining "song festival", which once again makes the ambivalence of great feelings its theme. The duos, which won prizes at the 2022 Graz Competition, are particularly closely intertwined in their choice of repertoire, which ranges from Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms to Leonard Bernstein and György Kurtág. The British tenor Laurence Kilsby, winner of the Wigmore Hall / Bollinger Competition in London and the Cesti Competition of the Innsbruck Early Music Festival 2022 and the Heidelberger Frühling Wettbewerb "Das Lied" 2023 , will meet with his piano partner Ella O'Neill in the second part. About the whimsical-amusing part of this evening nothing is betrayed in advance...
