Brahms.LAB II - Family Concert

A concert about friendship and the big dreams of life: In the family concert of the young violinist Charlotte Thiele we get to know Johannes Brahms as a 20-year-old young man. Full of inner fire, will for freedom and great ambition, he seeks closeness to his friends at the same time. The three of them come up with an unusual plan: they want to compose a joint piece of music for the world-famous violinist Joseph Joachim. Easier said than done, because creating something great together is no easy task. Charlotte Thiele and young musicians from the Festivalcampus-Ensemble tell us what it sounds like when artists compete with each other, want to outdo each other, and yet have to find a common path. Much to experience for young ears and curious audience!
