Two of the stylistically most agile and at the same time most spirited string players of the younger generation in intimate dialogue: Veronika Eberle and Nils Mönkemeyer. The duo of the two instruments – one in soprano, the other in alto – is a prism of musical expression: between quiet prayer and wild dance, saucy folk song and finely chiseled art. Spanning from the 12th to the 20th century, this concert incorporates the space and its inherent sound. And perhaps it is no coincidence that all energies finally come together in Mozart.
